Programme Overview
Pathways to Purpose is a 4-week career visioning programme designed for students aged 15–18 at GCSE and A-Level stages. It supports young people in understanding their strengths, exploring education and career pathways in Northern Ireland, and building the confidence to make informed decisions about their future.
Programme Objectives
- Empower students to identify their personal strengths, values, and interests.
- Explore a wide range of career pathways available in Northern Ireland (apprenticeships, degrees, trades, and further education).
- Develop confident, values-based decision-making skills.
- Create a personalised career action plan using SMART goals and reflective exercises.
Format
- 4 weekly sessions (1–2 hours each)
- Includes mindfulness, discussion, journaling, and visualisation
- Delivered in school or youth settings by a qualified career advisor and coach
